Q: Are dogs allowed on the fairgrounds?

Only service animals are permitted on the fairgrounds. Campers may have their dogs but only in private areas.


Q: Where are the educational activities for kids located?

There are educational activities throughout the fair—make sure to check out the livestock pavilion, the fine arts, home arts, and floriculture halls, as well as the newly redesigned Bob Donley Equine Education Center opening in 2019!


Q: What are the age ranges for your different ticket prices?

Children are age 11 and under, seniors are 60 years old and up.


Q: Where do I pick up Will Call tickets?

Will Call tickets may be picked up in the fair office located at 401 Martin St. on the righthand side of the main entry gate.


Q: How much is parking?

Parking is $9.


Q: How can I get a Fair Map and Daily Schedule before I arrive?

A fairgrounds map can be accessed here or on the back cover of the contest handbook.

The daily schedule will also be found at www.lakecountyfair.com > Fair Info, coming summer of 2019.


Q: Which rides does the carnival wristband let you ride FREE?

The pay one price wristband gives you access to every ride in the carnival!


Q: How old do I have to be to work at the Lake County Fair?

15 years and older, minors will be required to submit copies of their work permits.


Q: Can I bring food and drinks into the fair?

Fair guests may bring in one sealed bottle of water, the only outside foods permitted must be required for dietary needs.


Q: Are BBQ Pits allowed at the fairgrounds?

No, the Lake County Fair does not allow BBQ pits during the annual fair.


Q: Does the fairgrounds offer a comfortable area for nursing mothers?

The Lake County Fairgrounds, along with local partnerships is proud to offer a quiet area for young children as well as a comfortable nursing area, check out your annual fair program for the location.


Q: Where is the lost & found?

Lost & Found is located at the fair office.


Q: Where is the first aid station located?

The first aid station is located at the Log Cabin behind the cinnamon roll booth, by the C-Street gate.


Q: Where should I go if I get separated from my child?

Go to the CHP Station located by C-Street gate.


Q: Who should I go to if I have a question or need help at the fair?

Anyone wearing a LCF STAFF t-shirt will be happy to assist you.
